SjF was founded by Sandra Jardim Fernandes out of a profound realization that something vital was missing in the market of immigration law: the need for end-to-end services, personalized guidance, and tailor-made solutions that consider each family's unique goals as well as tax considerations.

Head of Legal Affairs

Sandra is specialised in Immigration Law and Foreign Investment focused on real estate, corporate and investment funds.

Besides being co-head of a Law Firm Immigration department, Sandra has vast experience in: Real Estate Law – particularly in the areas of building construction, financing operations and real estate investment, real estate use and management and tourism investment operations, involving complex negotiations and Corporate Law – acquisitions, mergers, divisions and corporate transformation, contracts, joint ventures and partnerships.
Boasting considerable experience in hotel administration, she has held executive management positions for many years.
She is a member of prestigious organizations such as the Investment Migration Council (IMC) where she is a Fellow Member, Global Law Experts, International Bar Association (IBA) and a lawyer recommended by the UK Embassy in Portugal.


Since 2014, Sandra Jardim Fernandes has attended international events and conferences as a speaker on Immigration and Foreign Investment.
Her personality combines decision-making, focus and results orientation with great interpersonal skills, good communication and multicultural understanding.

"When we made the decision to try to become Portuguese citizens through the Golden Visa program, we interviewed several different companies, and extensively read their reviews. 

Ultimately, we chose to go with SJF Immigration & Investments for a couple of reasons.  First, we liked that they were a smaller company at this point, so we hoped for a more personalized experience.  Secondly, we liked that there was an in-house attorney to handle legal issues directly.
